Millimeter-Wave Channel Model Parameters for Various Office Environments

In this paper, a 60-GHz millimeter-wave cluster channel model for various office environments was developed, and the impact of characteristics on wireless data transmission investigated. To develop model, double-directional measurement campaigns were conducted in university laboratory environment. A custom-developed sounder with an angular resolution 6° delay 2.5 ns at 58.32 GHz used measurements. Using super-resolution multipath parameter estimation algorithm, components extracted from measured 0.1 azimuth 0.1°, clusters identified using K-PowerMeans algorithm. study, based conventional 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) which is scenario-categorized site-general attempt made to highly accurate that can more accurately reproduce small-scale fading fluctuations site-specific environments. The large- parameters obtained compared those 3GPP map-based hybrid quasi-deterministic model. results revealed strong site dependency inter-cluster intra-cluster properties. Moreover, different system evaluation demonstrated single-user multi-user multiple-input–multiple-output capacities.
